WHAT IS MODERN FETE?
You’re getting married, and you just stumbled on the best way to plan the celebration. You walk in off the bustling street to a welcome bag and map upon check in. You turn the corner to reveal a room full of the greatest wedding details your little heart could ever imagine. Live music in the distance rolls through like you’re in a scene out of Ocean’s Eleven, and you spot that calligrapher from Instagram that you love, as you make your way into the room. Wedding vendors line the walls with offerings such as design inspiration, planning help, floral ideas, and even a braid bar to tame your wind swept tresses.
Modern Fete is a night out with your maids and men, and a great excuse to get dressed up!
Our vendors are hand picked and curated for their love and fantastic execution of modern wedding elements. These vendors are all local to NYC, and serve the entire city as well as the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas.
Sigmund’s Pretzels
Did you know the best soft pretzels in the city can travel to your wedding? In probably the most handsome street cart you’ve ever seen. Sample to your heart’s content on April 2nd!
Elbowgrease Design
Anthropologie windows are the stuff wedding dreams are made of. Lauren of Elbowgrease Design has been there, done that, and will be joining us April 2nd to show you how to do the same.
CUT
You could search Pinterest for days, or you could sit down for 5 minutes with Danielle of CUT and discover the perfect wedding day hairstyle for you. She’ll be offering up a braid bar on April 2nd as you spill your heart.
Hawk and Hare
The stuff boho wedding dreams are made of. Christina of Hawk and Hare joins us and shares her love of all things floral.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll be setting the stage with details and inspiration for a modern wedding, raffling off some killer gifts, and throwing in some drinks and sweets along the way. From services such as photography and hair design to tangibles such as paper goods and floral design, local artisans provide the inspiration to dream big. Think the real life big sister of Pinterest, with more taste and a sense of reality.
